Lead County
A ROOTIN’ TOOTIN’ ADVENTURE
Lead County is a non-stop weekend of airsoft set in the wild west. We have chosen our game to be placed around the 1880s Dinosaur bone rush , and will be set in the infamous prospectors camp of Cope and Marsh in Colorado. All players will be individuals and want to make their own fortune, though 5 man digging teams can formed to help accomplish this goal. The game is all about making money, drinkin whiskey, playing poker, donging bullet’s and becoming the most famous dinosaur discoverer in the west. To do this we are using the awesome County wars rules set with addition inspiration from the old Flying lead game.
Game Mechanics:
Primary mechanic
Find a dig site with a fossil in it and get digging – We will be buying and casting fossils and bones in materials that will need you to chip away at them in the field, or you can try and bring them back to the camp and get others to do it. There are risks in both ways. Finding a fossil, getting legal paperwork…or not….and extracting it well enough to sell it to a museum.
Wooden crates loaded with wooden shavings to transport are a must.
Secondary mechanics
Secondary mechanics may vary from game to game but ones that will always be the same are Gambling in ‘The Right and Legal’ gambling house and Saloon or playing in the huts and camps.
Roles you can play.
As with all Filmsim style games, role play is at the for front of tis type of event. To help that we have a number of roles you can play that can bring something extra to the game. These roles are taken at the start of the game and can only be changed if you die.

The prospector – Couth
Permit – Can have a single firing weapons from the standard weapons list
1 bandage
Get an extra 10% from right and legal sales.
The prospector – Un-Couth
Permit – Can have a single firing weapon from the standard weapons list.
1 bandages
Get an extra 10% from black market sales
Excavators – Diggers
Permit – Can have a single firing weapons from the standard weapons list
1 bandage
Can charge to dig and gives an extra 10% value to the fossil
Tools of trade – Pick axe and spade
Excavators – Cleaners
Them kind that chips away and uses brushes
1 bandage
Get an extra 25% value to the fossil
Tools of trade – chisels and brushes
Dentists – the travelling Docs of the west
1 bandage
These folks can heal ya for $5 a bandage
Tools of trade – 6 red bandages
Rogue
Too lazy to dig themselves, these son bitches gamble all day and try their luck at robbing.
The can sell to both R&L and black market but if they get caught and a bounty on them they can only use the black market until the pay their dues to the camp.

Camp regulators – only 5 places per game.

As long as your paper work is in order, you’ll get full price on your fossils and winnings.
Couth and law abiding will get most from this
Black market
Will buy and trade anything but at 25% less
Un-Couth and care free will get the most out of this

Everyone starts with 18 bullets/shots

And if they start with a permit, they can have a gun, otherwise they will need to buy one.
