SUMMARY:Okto Eight Milsim - Operation Scimitar 6
DESCRIPTION:Please note – this is a MilSim\, NOT a skirmish. Please do not book a place unless you are able to comply with the uniform\, weapon and ammo limits\, as well as understand and accept that you may spend long periods without shooting anything. Some role-playing is required for immersion\, we want everyone to feel like they are in a movie!\nPRICE £85 (£45 non-refundable deposit on ticket order and £40 due on arrival)\n\n\nOperation Scimitar 6 opens with the JTF still being trapped in country (failed evac from last game) and being in possession of the Chinese-manufactured DOOMBEAM launcher. Phoenix would also like to get their hands on it before it’s used against them by their enemies. There is also the matter of the elusive launch codes !!!\nJTF need to successfully deliver the launcher into the hands of Tizzit forces in accordance with political instructions\, but there is a more pressing issue.\nGeneral Huseyn\, representing the Iranian government\, was on his way to Tizzit to negotiate with its rightful ruler Habib Al Malik and discuss collaboration concerning the DOOMBEAM. Unfortunately\, his plane suffers a technical fault and crash lands in the Tizzit desert meaning that he and his accompanying bodyguards must take refuge in a house.\nJTF are ordered to apprehend him and put him in a top-secret black site run by the seemingly innocent NGO\, <IDAP> in Tizzit. To make matters worse\, Malik was unaware of its existence in his country!\nPhoenix wants to get to him first and ransom him back to the Iranians and the Tizzit Loyalist Army want to capture and return him unarmed to score points with Tehran\, although they don’t want to make it too obvious\, so as not to upset their allies. The TLA aren’t thrilled about the existence of a foreign black site either!\nOperation Scimitar 6 will be an adrenaline fuelled weekend of tactics\, asymmetrical warfare and role-play and is to be the twenty second game in this exciting Bad-To-The-Bone series.\n\nLOADOUT=======NATO JTF UNIT 37 SPECIAL FORCES============================\nTop and Bottom in matching camouflage – assault vests and chest rigs can be matching camo or solid green or tan – plate carriers ideal.US and NATO SF weaponry such as M4\, HK416/7\, SCAR is ideal.Headgear required – helmets\, camo baseball caps or boonies only.* multicam arid\, alpine and black not acceptable.\n\nPhoenix PMC=========Top and bottom in solid colours such as green/olive drab\, grey\, black or tan.Casual style – cargo or tactical trousers with fleece\, T-shirt or soft-shell jacket\, all solid colours – no jeans.Boots to be tactical – no trainers.Headgear – baseball caps only – must be plain colour not camo.Plate carriers\, chest rigs or assault vests.Weapons can be eastern bloc or western\, but think military or law enforcement – no gold AK’s.\n\nTizzit Loyalist Army=============Top and Bottom in matching DPM\, DDPM or M81 camouflage – load bearing equipment\, plate carriers\, assault vests and chest rigs can be matching camo or solid green or tan.US and NATO weaponry such as M4 is ideal – AK47’s and derivatives also allowedHeadgear required – Berets\, helmets\, boonies\, patrol caps or local headwear (no baseball caps).\n\nRULES====A full ruleset will be sent to each player by e-mail once deposited but a simple overview with primary rules listed for game assessment is as follows:Players must be 18 years of age or over – we may ask for proof.Children aged 16 and over are allowed to play providing they are accompanied by a playing parent or legal guardian. No Two Tone WeaponsOnly Single Shot (semi-auto) should be used. SUMMARY:Okto Eight Milsim - Operation Kraken
DESCRIPTION:Operation Kraken\nPlease note – this is a MilSim\, NOT a skirmish. Please do not book a place unless you are able to comply with the uniform\, weapon and ammo limits\, as well as understand and accept that you may spend long periods without shooting anything.\nPRICE £85\n\nIn all cases\, team places must be reserved with a £25- non-refundable deposit – no walk on available.\n\nA unique email address must be submitted for each player as tickets and further information will be sent direct to each player.\n\n\nPlayers must be 18 years of age or over – we may ask for proof.\n\nChildren aged 16 and over are allowed to play providing they are accompanied by a playing parent or legal guardian.\n\n\nStory:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUS Research Station ZEBRA\, Teller\, Alaska.80 miles from Russia – the two countries face each other across the Bering Strait.Only ZEBRA isn’t really a research station as such. It’s the home of a horrific cold war weapon. \nThe United States was a prime instigator of the Internet. It realised that the world wide web would develop and ultimately be used to control infrastructure; power stations\, oil flow\, water supplies\, transport. If you could control that\, you could control the world. Knowing it would take 40-50 years for the Internet to pervade everybody’s lives\, they created DARKSPIKE – a watcher program that could be used to spike the internet of specific target countries\, leaving them in darkness. It would be the ultimate weapon\, stopping conventional war\, but rendering opponents literally\, dead in the water. \nUnfortunately\, Russian advances in anti-virus software and pressure from US defence contractors who relied on the manufacture of bombs and bullets\, stopped the funding and the project was shelved in the sixties. DARKSPIKE sat waiting\, in a room at Zebra. The lights on the console occasionally flickering\, like a sleeping heartbeat…That is\, until an ultra-right wing extremist group of influential Americans known as Cerberus decided to seize it. \nYou know the worst thing ?Nobody noticed. \nSeized is the wrong word. It was more infiltrated. The phones still got answered\, the right code words used.Teller is a long way from anywhere.Nobody noticed anything different.However\, something had changed. \nThe crazies had control. Cerberus had their long fingers around a doomsday weapon. \nThe other worst thing is that Cerberus now had AI – Artificial Intelligence – it’s 2025 not 1965 any longer.DARKSPIKE with its cold war flaws + AI = DARKSPIKE 2.0 – an upgraded weapon that can think its way around any cyber security or online resistance. Cerberus have birthed a new superweapon. \nSuddenly\, Phoenix operatives started showing up at Teller. This triggered algorithms on the computers of the watchers.Then\, the pagers of the Joint Task Force were sounding in the middle of the night.Soon\, all were on a converging course with OBLIVION \n\n\nOperation Kraken will be an adrenaline fuelled weekend of tactics\, asymmetrical warfare and role-play and is to be the twenty third game in this exciting Bad-To-The-Bone series. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLoadouts and Ruleset\n_______________________\n\nNATO JTF UNIT 37 SPECIAL FORCES\n============================\nTop and Bottom in matching camouflage – assault vests and chest rigs can be matching camo or solid green or tan – plate carriers ideal.\nUS and NATO SF weaponry such as M4\, HK416/7\, SCAR is ideal.\nHeadgear required – helmets\, camo baseball caps or boonies only.\n* multicam arid\, alpine and black not acceptable.\n\nPhoenix PMC\n=========\nTop and bottom in solid colours such as green/olive drab\, grey\, black or tan.\nCasual style – cargo or tactical trousers with fleece\, T-shirt or soft-shell jacket\, all solid colours – no jeans.\nBoots to be tactical – no trainers.\nHeadgear – baseball caps only – must be plain colour not camo.\nPlate carriers\, chest rigs or assault vests.\nWeapons can be eastern bloc or western\, but think military or law enforcement – no gold AK’s. \n\nCerberus=============\nCivilian clothes. Even in the early days\, it realised that the world wide web would develop and ultimately be used to control infrastructure; power stations\, oil flow\, water supplies\, transport. \nIf you could control that\, you could control the world. If successful\, Cerberus would have birthed a new superweapon. \nFortunately\, their ambitions were thwarted by the NATO Joint Task Force and Phoenix PMC\, albeit for differing reasons. \nRealising the game was up and with the component parts of DARKSPIKE in the hands of different factions\, Cerberus abandoned Teller and ran to the wilderness. Switching to survivalist mode\, they would be safer in the wilds of Alaska and there is still a chance for them to get the components they need. \nIt’s also strange that the new American President seems quite happy to keep their exploits a secret from the usual US security agencies. The project was shelved in the sixties.\nDARKSPIKE sat waiting\, in a secure facility in Alaska\, until an ultra-right wing extremist group of influential Americans known as Cerberus stole it.\nAs we saw in the last game\, Cerberus lost possession of the remote trigger/arming device and the Darkspike cold-war shelved version to the Phoenix private military contractors who want to sell it to the highest terrorist bidder. However\, Cerberus still hold the upgraded control panel – the third part of the equation – which is needed to make it a superweapon. Each faction needs the missing parts held by the other to achieve their desired aim.\nUnfortunately\, Cerberus are now short of funds after paying USD7m to Phoenix in the last conflict.\nKraken 3 sees them in Serrano\, an ex-French Caribbean Island\, infamous for cocaine trafficking due to its lawlessness. They have powerful members and through history have influenced the direction that their country took. In recent years\, they haven’t been satisfied by the decisions taken and policies adopted. They started to plan a new order\, a new leadership. At the beginning of the Kraken series\, they got their hands on a doomsday weapon\, but this was foiled by interference from the US and other western governments in the form of the JTF and from a private security company called Phoenix who wanted the weapon to sell for profit.\n\nIn the last game\, we saw Cerberus travel to the Caribbean where they profited from drugs and other illegal trades.\n\nNow\, they have crossed the border into Canada and occupied a remote part of Manitoba. Taking advantage of friction between the USA and Canadian border authorities\, they have used their amassed funds and employed a virologist who operates under the code name Dr.Plum. He has engineered a virus named Purpleheart which is contact transferred to captured personnel by a spiky purple ball impregnated with the virus.\n\nThe infectors are members of Cerberus who are immunised and only they can infect the captured.\n\nInfected personnel which can be key members of society like politicians or law enforcement\, armed services etc become rogue sleepers. At some point\, they will go rogue and execute everybody in the vicinity with whatever weapon they have. The only way to stop them\, is to execute them before they can harm further.\n\nThe glitch\, is that nobody knows who’s been infected except Cerberus.\n\nOperation Kraken 4 will be a sequel adrenaline fuelled weekend of tactics\, asymmetrical warfare and role-play and is to be the twenty sixth game in this exciting Bad-To-The-Bone series.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLoadouts and Ruleset\n_______________________\n\nNATO JTF UNIT 37 SPECIAL FORCES\n============================\nMTP orMulticam* orTropic Multicam * orFlecktarn orAOR1 orConcamo\n\nTop and Bottom in matching camouflage – assault vests and chest rigs can be matching camo or solid green or tan – plate carriers ideal. As this is multi-agency\, you can wear law enforcement identification patches (DEA\, POLICE\, etc)US and NATO SF weaponry such as M4\, HK416/7\, SCAR is ideal.Headgear required – helmets\, reversed camo or plain baseball caps (must always be reversed) or plain or camo boonies.\n\n* multicam arid\, alpine and black NOT acceptable.\n\n  \n\n\n\nPhoenix PMC\n=========\nTop and bottom in solid colours such as green/olive drab\, grey\, black or tan.Casual style – cargo or tactical trousers with fleece\, T-shirt or soft-shell jacket\, all solid colours – no jeans.Boots to be tactical – no trainers.Headgear – baseball caps only – must be plain colour not camo. Greed and corruption are now commonplace in a once idealistic and principled force.\nThe then\, Moldistan Peoples Front\, who liberated Moldistan from the dictator Gretsky with just a few primitive weapons and stomachs full of gruel\, are now fat cats\, enjoying the capitalist wealth and prizes of their former struggle against oppression.\nCerberus disillusioned in their fight to overthrow the Presidency in their home country against ever increasing opposition and failing support from influential US bluebloods\, have decided to cut their losses and buy a tropical island chain that they can call home and run how they want. Cerberus have sold the Purpleheart virus and weapon to the cash-rich DPRM.\nThe DPRM want reunification – they are no longer happy with 25% of Moldistan. Gretsky is no longer as powerful as he was.\nTrouble is once again brewing….\nNATO cannot let this slide. Moldistan is adjacent to Ukraine. Russia is poised at the sidelines. The JTF will no doubt have a role in any future operation on Moldistan soil – a government which is neither pro-Trump or Putin.\nThe Moldistan Peoples Front (MPF) have a clear objective with Purpleheart\, but the “The best-laid plans of mice and men” – The mysterious Baba Yaga organisation who kidnapped Dr.Plum at Kraken 4 will not sit idly by…\n\nOperation Vurdalak will be an adrenaline fuelled weekend of tactics\, asymmetrical warfare and role-play and is to be the twenty seventh game in this exciting Bad-To-The-Bone series.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLoadouts and Ruleset\n_______________________\n\nNATO JOINT TASK FORCE (JTF) UNIT 37\nMTP orMulticam* orTropic Multicam * orAOR1 orConcamo\nTop and Bottom in matching camouflage – assault vests and chest rigs can be matching camo or solid green or tan – plate carriers ideal. As this is multi-agency\, you can wear law enforcement identification patches (DEA\, POLICE\, etc)US and NATO SF weaponry such as M4\, HK416/7\, SCAR is ideal.Headgear required – helmets\, reversed camo or plain baseball caps (must always be reversed) or plain or camo boonies.\n* multicam arid\, alpine and black not acceptable.\n\n\nBABA YAGA\n100% CamoORTop or trousers may be civilian clothes\, in which case the other half must be camo.\nPermissible camouflage as follows:Flecktarn\, any Russian Camo or Polish Woodland\, Czech Woodland\, Digital woodland\, Tiger Stripe\, Vegetato Woodland or plain colour Gorka.Boots to be tactical – no sports trainers.Headgear – light/shadow grey baseball caps only – must be plain colour not camo. SUMMARY:Operation Dante - 13hr Op
DESCRIPTION:A Filmsim 13 hr event.\nIMPORTANT! Gameplay will commence at 10am on Saturday morning and continue without interruption for 13hrs. Players must be aged 18+ or 16+ if accompanied by a supervising adult during gameplay. This event relies heavily on role-play and has specific uniform requirements. Please contact us BEFORE booking a ticket if you are unsure what is required. \nWe recommend that you visit the event page on Facebook for updated information and discussion. \nFree camping is available on Friday and Saturday night. \nTickets are £85 and places must be secured by paying a £45 non-refundable deposit below. The remaining £40 balance must be paid on arrival. \nRegistration will open at 8am Saturday 4th July. \nStart Time: 10am Sat 4th July \nDuration: 13hrs continous \nThe operation\nThe small Latino country of San Marcos situated in central south America has been besieged by a civil war that has consumed its people for 3 years. The president Col Gustavo Calderon has total control of the state’s army and police\, relying on the support of the Mendoza Cartel for financial support. \nThe hammer behind the civil war is the exiled president\, Alfonzo Minaroe whose support come from the CIA and the US government. There are two guerrilla factions that have their own training camps that support Minaroe\, The Diablos and the Angeles. Due to the nature of these ‘freedom fighters’ and their political interests being very different\, they don’t get on and have been known to engage each other over political differences. Unfortunately for Minaroe both factions have been promised a place in the San Marcos assembly hall as new founded political parties. The CIA is very unhappy with this agreement\, as a number of the factions have fanatical extremists and some are wanted by the CIA for crimes again the US. \nOperation Dante is the brainchild of Walter Mankin\, the head of the CIA operations in south America\, also has been the head of a number of other successful operations in south America. \nThe Teams\n\n\nFreedom Fighters\n\nDiablos freedom fighters (8 places): Red bandana/scarf (Communist)\nAngeles freedom fighters (8 places): Blue bandana/scarf (Fascist)\n\n\n\nUS & State Forces\n\nCIA operatives (8 places): Multicam/cobra hoods/ghillie Can use a drone for reconnaissance. Can use civilian (plain every day clothes) to move around the camp to gather intel.  Any suspicious behaviour however will be met with interrogation and possible removal.\nSan Marcos state troopers (14 places): US BDU woodland\, marpat. Mich Helmet or black beret.\n\n\n\nAt the start of the game\, this faction will be with the freedom fighters playing out an op4 role for the freedom fighters training\, however\, this will also give the players playing state troops and opportunity to learn the layout of the camp. \nThe Primary objectives\nCIA operatives with support from US Special Forces are to deploy in the northern rain forests of San Marcos to observe a new joint Minaroe training camp where both factions of freedom fighters will be trained together.  They need to identify a number of HVTs during the day so they can try to extradite them to stand trial in the US and remove their influence from the possible government of Minaroe. COVERT!! \nThe freedom fighters must try to get along and train together for an important task. More will be revealed closer to the time. The beginning of the game will be filled with small set piece objectives and improvised weaponizing. \nState Police will be trying to catch and arrest as many freedom fighters and HVTs as possible from the start of their operation later in the event. \nEach faction will have a media set up for pre-event communication.  This kind of event entirely relies on role-play and the right person at the right game and in the right faction.
